OEH Agrihorti Sdn. Bhd. was established as a forward-looking agribusiness. Recognising the long-term potential of the coconut industry, we made a strategic decision to invest in coconut cultivation — a commitment that has since grown into a diversified plantation spanning coconuts, oil palm and fresh vegetables.
That same vision guides how we farm today — from young seedlings hand-planted in careful rows across open fields, to shaded tunnels where our long beans and chillies climb string trellises above the soil.
An aerial view of our plantation, with the two fish ponds that anchor our newest venture into aquaculture.
Our plantation spans 100 acres in total. Around 20 acres are planted with fragrant Pandan coconut, yielding an estimated 260,000 coconuts a year, while roughly 60 acres are under oil palm cultivation. The remaining land is given over to a rotation of fresh vegetables, keeping the farm diverse and productive throughout the year.
Coconut and oil palm seedlings are grown in our nursery, then hand-planted across open fields in careful rows.
Our vegetable nursery raises chili and bean seedlings under shade netting before they move to the open trellis tunnels.
Vegetables are picked, bundled and boxed the same day they're ordered, so what reaches you is always farm-fresh.
Tucked beside our vegetable tunnels is a quiet lily pond, home to a small flock of geese that wander the banks each evening. It's a reminder that our farm isn't just rows and harvests — it's a small, living ecosystem we get to take care of every day.
Visitors are often just as charmed by the pond as they are by the produce — it's one of our favourite corners of the farm.
Beyond our coconut, palm and vegetable crops, we're growing in a new direction. The farm is already home to two large fish ponds and 100 aquaculture trays, laying the groundwork for a fish farming operation alongside our existing plantation.
We're keen to hear from companies with aquaculture experience who are interested in partnering with us to develop this side of the farm together.
